Millville High School Guard Program
 
The Millville High School Guard program participates both in the Fall season with the marching band, and in the Winter season as a competitive indoor guard unit. For the Fall season, the Marching Bolts currently compete in two marching band circuits: The New Jersey Marching Band Directors Association (NJMBDA) and USBands (NEW). In NJMBDA, the Bolts compete in the AAA class. In USBands, the Bolts compete in the IV A class.
 
Since 2018, under the direction and creative design of John Riley, the Millville High School Indoor Guard (MHSIG) has grown into one of the top high school guard programs in Tournament of Bands, most notably, winning the 2023 TIA Scholastic Regional A Atlantic Coast Championship and becoming the highest scoring unit in recent division history. MHSIG competes in the Southern New Jersey Region in the Scholastic Regional A class.
