Immunization Requirements

The New Jersey Department of Health requires that all children attending school receive required immunizations. Families have 30 days from their child's start date at school to get any necessary immunizations. Failure to ensure your child receives these immunizations within those 30 days will lead to exclusion from school.

 

Students Transferring in from Out of Country
Students Transferring from Out of State
  • Students registering with the district from outside of New Jersey are required to have a physical within 30 days of their start date. 
  • We will accept physicals completed in your home state within the past year.
 
Preschool
  • Tetanus, Diptheria, and acellular Pertussis (Tdap) - 4 Dates
  • Inactivated Poliovirus (Polio) - 3 Dates
  • Hoemophilus influenoe Type B (HiB) - 1 Date after 1st Birthday
  • Pneumococcal conjugate (PCV 13) - 1 Date after 1st Birthday
  • Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) - 1 Date after 1st Birthday
  • Varicella (VAR/Varivax) - 1 Date after 1st Birthday / written proof of Chicken Pox disease
  • Influenza (IIV; LAIV) - Between 9/1 and 12/31 each year

Kindergarten
  • BOOSTER: Tetanus, Diptheria, and acellular Pertussis (Tdap)
  • BOOSTER: Inactivated Poliovirus (Polio)
  • BOOSTER: Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)
  • Hepatitis B (3 doses)
