Intervention and Referral Services Team (I&M Team) — Student Assistance Program
A
school-based program to assist students with learning, behavioral
health or health problems that are affecting school performance. The
program also promotes the general development of students' self-esteem,
interpersonal relationships, problem solving and coping skills. Students
may be referred to this program by a school staff member, a
parent/guardian or self-referral. All referrals are confidential and
related information is not included in the student's educational record,

LINK
School Based Youth Services Program (available to students at Millville High School and Millville Alternative High School).
The LINK School Based Youth Services Program helps young people navigate their adolescent years, finish their education, obtain skills leading to employment or continuing education, and graduate healthy and drug free. All services are provided free of charge and require parental consent. Core services provided include:
- Mental health counseling
- Primary and preventive health services
- Employment services
- Learning support services
- Recreation and clubs

- Healthy youth development
- Substance abuse counseling and referral
- Pregnancy prevention programs
- Referrals to community-based providers
- STD/HIV testing and treatment

Medical Home Instruction
The
purpose of medical home instruction is to provide general education
students in grades k— 12, or special education students, ages 3 — 21,
out of school instruction when an acute or chronic health issue prevents
the student from attending school during the regular school day. In
order to receive medical home instruction, the student's healthcare
provider must certify that the student is confined to the home setting.
All requests for home instruction are subject to review and approval by
the school physician. For additional information and related forms,
contact the school nurse at your child's school or the Home Instruction
coordinator at (856) 327-6024.
