Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program
The Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program (FFVP) is a federally assisted program that provides
FREE, FRESH fruits & vegetables to students in elementary schools
which are selected by the government through an application process each year.
We are proud to announce that John Fenwick Academy & Salem Middle School
are recipients of the FFVP grant.

Goals of the FFVP:
~ Create healthy eating habits what will impact children's overall health.
~ Increase children's fruit and vegetable intake.
~ Introduce children to fruits and vegetables that they may not normally be exposed to.
~ Provide nutrition education to expand children's knowledge of fruits and vegetables.
